#GivingTuesday2022 is a day of generosity, sharing, and impact. This year we’re celebrating our Return to JUNTOSAbroad: México!
When JUNTOS was founded in 2008, it was originally intended to be a one-time trip to Mexico in 2009, but in the 14 years since, JUNTOS has expanded to bring 6 different in-person programs to 144 Community Alliances in 5 different countries, our JUNTOSAbroad: México trips have maintained a special place in our hearts, with an Abroad trip travelling there each year until 2020.
This year, JUNTOS is raising money to support our Return to JUNTOSAbroad: México! Your donation will impact every level of JUNTOS, from our Community Alliances through dance education and dance performances, to our Dance Ambassadors and Volunteers through the development of leadership skills, increased cultural awareness, and professional experiences, all going towards supporting our future global leaders.
You can help us bring tools of lifelong self-empowerment to underserved communities in Latin America as we simultaneously foster leadership skills, cultural exchange and understanding, and community-first mindsets in the next generation of global creative leaders.

The experience with JUNTOS developed confidence, group skills, and self-expression for the students of Fundación Salvación. To see them watch, learn, and dance together was wonderful, all through a Zoom call!"

”"As cliche as it is, dance really is a universal language. Although I've been able to work on my Spanish, working with JUNTOS and our Community Alliances has given me the tools to sharpen my nonverbal communication skills. I've narrowed down how much time spend overthinking about the what-ifs and commit to the now. I've found that I teach with a new kind of confidence, and it's because I finally understand that teaching itself can be a form of outreach. It takes some amount of selflessness and vulnerability to connect with others while also sharing new information. Students don't need a teacher that's a "know it all"; they need someone energetic, believes in what they do and sees far enough ahead to what they can be Not only has JUNTOS allowed me to reach this conclusion for myself as an educator, but they model it for me as a lifelong student."
