International Program Manager
Anniela Huidobro Castro graduated from the Professional Dance School of Mazatlan under the direction of Delfos Danza Contemporánea company. She has been awarded various fellowships by Programa de Estímulos a la Creación y al Desarrollo Artístico to complete artistic residencies in Brazil and Chile (Quasar Cía. De Dança; One Piece). Anniela has been working as a dancer in Mexico, Central America, and South America: Escénica Contemporánea Laura Vera (Mexico, 2016-2018); CAMP_iN Encuentro Escénico (Mexico, 2017-current); Corpo Gourmet and Regla de Tres by Omar Carrum’s WORLDrobed project (Panama, 2018 and Colombia, 2019); Dança à Deriva Festival (Brazil, 2019). She is part of the Continuum dance teacher network, and currently co-directs Casa Abierta / Residencia de Artes Escénicas in Oaxaca with Evelyn Méndez, a project creating platforms for performing artists to share together. Anniela joined the JUNTOS team as International Program Manager in 2019.
