Jasmine Rivers is a dancer, choreographer, and non-profit administrator from San Francisco, now based in Brooklyn. She grew up training with ODC/Dance and Alonzo King LINES Ballet, before attending Princeton University where she majored in medical anthropology and pursued a certificate in dance. In college, Jasmine served as the President of one of Princeton’s student-run dance groups, which sparked her love for dance company management, and studied abroad in Granada, Spain, which cemented her passion for cross cultural exchange. Jasmine is currently working as a Program Associate for Association to Benefit Children, a non-profit that supports at-risk youth in NYC through wraparound services. She is also continuing to dance and choreograph in the NYC area, including serving as a company member of Chutzpah Dance.
Jasmine is thrilled to be a part of the JUNTOS team, whose mission weaves together her belief in the transformative power of intercultural exchange, the need to expand accessibility to dance, and dance’s ability to facilitate connection and community across differences.
