Program Information
JUNTOSxChange is a 3-day professional development program from November 7-9th, 2026, offering seminars on personal branding, contracting, budgeting, and grant writing; somatic dance workshops; and mentorship from Latinx professionals in the NYC dance community.
JUNTOSxChange propels Latinx dance artists into their next career phase through mentorship and movement exchange, providing tangible, personalized tools and resources for professional growth. This community-based professional development program aims to serve the Latinx artist community by uplifting Latinx dance artists at many different points in their career, including those transitioning between roles and/or sectors.
JUNTOSxChange is a free, application-based program with the following goals:
- Opportunity: Open doors for Latinx dance artists who are willing and ready
- Community: Create a bonded network of Latinx dance artists in NYC
- Mentorship: Link Latinx professionals in the NYC dance community who are emerging, established, or at any other point in their career, and who share and contribute to the implementation of JUNTOS’ core values
- Action: Send participants into their next stages with personalized deliverables and growth plans aligned to their professional goals
Eligible applicants must:
- Be based in NYC
- Identify as Latinx/e
- Be at least 21 years old
- Identify as an emerging artist in the dance field

Eligible applicants must answer the application questions as thoroughly as possible. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis based on how well the information provided matches the mission and values of the program.
