“After participating in the Mexico [JUNTOSAbroad] trip, I have seen how valuable it is to share what we are given, and I want to continue doing that kind of work in my own community. I want to be able to share the work of JUNTOS since it has changed and impacted me as both an artist and human.”
Maxine Patronik is in her third year at Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California. She began dancing in her hometown of Chicago at age three, training mostly in classical ballet and modern. Maxine has participated with JUNTOS since 2014, both locally and internationally. She is excited to be a part of the Ambassador program because she believes it will strengthen her leadership abilities in dance and create more visibility for the work JUNTOS does.
