I write because the JUNTOS Kickstarter campaign ends in 5 days. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, we need to reach our goal of at least $9500 in order to receive any of the pledged donations. If we do not reach our goal on Kickstarter, JUNTOS will not continue next year.
I just returned from my fifth JUNTOS trip, where I acted as Assistant to the Director, Joanna Poz-Molesky. Also among the group was one of our trip coordinators, Sussan Hrozek, native of Guatemala. Their passion and belief in this project is overwhelming, but rightfully so. We are creating community and hope in places that need it; the JUNTOS Collective is needed! Joanna’s vision has brought this amazing project to life and she has even more hopes for the future. I have learned so much from her and my experiences with JUNTOS. Continued work with this project is also part of my future plans.
Communities that we have encountered in the past are already sending concerned emails about our return. Please help us avoid severing the ties we have spent the past four years building and nurturing!
